The department trains:

Specialists(engineers) in course"Chemical technology of energy materials and products", specialty – "Chemical Technology of Polymeric Compounds, Gunpowder and Solid Rocket Fuel"

·         Theoretical bases of processes of reception and processing of polymeric materials;

·         Physico-chemical properties of explosives, powders and solid propellants;

·         Fundamentals of design and equipment of the plants;

·         Chemistry and Technology of nitrocellulose powders and solid propellants;

·         Mixed solid rocket fuel: components, requirements, properties;

·         The technology of composite solid rocket fuels;

·         Chemistry of energy-intensive materials;

·         Computer design methods of polymer compositions;

·         Internal ballistics barrel systems and rocket engines;

·         Operational properties of powders and solid propellants;

·         Theoretical Foundations of scientific research;

·         Conversion technologies and advanced polymer materials;

·         Stabilization of Polymeric Materials;

·         Modern methods of investigation of polymer materials.
