Research work

The main direction of scientific work of the Department – development of information support systems, control and protection of chemical-technological processes. In the framework of this direction the Department developed the basics of the application of physical methods and measurements in the chemical industries (prof Kashmet V.V., Assoc. Blagoveshchenskiy V.V.). Designed and developed a number of original sensors for flow measurement of liquid, for determining the octane number of motor fuels and to measure the water content in them (Professor Zhernovoi A.I., Assoc. Blagoveshchenskiy V.V.). Designed for fine purification of biological products by zone melting (Assoc.Skobelev, V.N., Assoc. Hotuntsova S.V.). Much has been done to study the influence of magnetic field on the saturation of blood oxygen (Professor Zhernovoi A.I.). Conducted research in the area of impact of laser radiation on aragonesista compositions (explosive and pyrotechnic compositions). The developed model of initiation-saturated compositions by laser radiation (Ostashev, V.B., Annunciation B.V.). Scientists of the Department developed the methods of diagnosis of blood diseases and cancer based on the method of bioluminescence.
